The Sales Manager is responsible for selling travel management services to mid-size to large corporate accounts. 

 

The Sales Manager will be responsible for managed client acquisition for ALTOUR JV partner MILNE TRAVEL and ALTOUR.

 

Focus on New England and New York based clients in $1MM - $10MM air spend.

 

Focus on creating and nurturing relationships with prospective clients in non-profit, healthcare, education, and blockchain verticals nation-wide, and globally.

 

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas.  Many factors, such as years of experience, geographical location, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.

 

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients
  • Consistently follow up with prospective clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with our vendor partners
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations
  • Complete Request for Proposals (RFP’s)
  • Identify potential clients by determining if the corporation/organization has a need and establishing relationship with the decision maker(s)
  • Network within various organizations by attending:
    • Seminars
    • Socials
    • Various events

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or higher,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 5+ years of travel or B2B sales experience.
  • Salesforce/CRM competence.
  • Proven track record of success.
