Dev Ops Engineer

Internova Travel Group is hiring a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be on a team of DevOps engineers performing analysis, hunting bugs, and driving DevOps cultural transformation. The DevOps Engineer focuses on application life cycle management tools and processes and assists with process workflows and improvements with system engineers, software engineers, and security analysts.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas.  Many factors, such as years of experience, geographical location, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.

 This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.

***This position can work from home in most states; however, this position cannot be completed in the state of California.***

• Maintain availability of production cloud environments (AWS-Azure).
• Follow change management process for automated deployments of cloud and on-premises based infrastructure
• Collaborate with Development, Support and Business teams from different locations and projects to find solutions to minor and complex problems
• Understand and maintain DevOps CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, AWS Code Deploy, Azure Pipelines).
• Support and maintain access management for different tools and platforms: AWS IAM, Azure AD, Jenkins, VPN, among others.
• CI/CD tools for DevOps like Jenkins, Azure DevOps pipelines, Git, Chef.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or at least 3 years of experience in DevOps and CI/CD
• Excellent written and communication skills and comfort working with both very technical teams as well as management and business customers
• Full lifecycle DevOps Automation experience
• Deep experience with cloud services and infrastructure technologies like Containers, Lambda, S3, Terraform, Autoscaling, Cosmos DB, EC2, etc.
• Proficiency with at least one common scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java Scripts, etc.
• Experience with NPM or Jira
• Experience with building pipelines in GitLab or Jenkins as CI/CD
• Must be knowledgeable of Unix/Linux and Microsoft operating systems
• Knowledge on JSON, Open VPN other authentication mechanisms is desirable
• Experience with monitoring & logging tools such as Elastic Search - Kibana is a plus
• SQL server and SQL as a Service knowledge is a plus
• API working knowledge and Active Directory experience a plus
