Global Travel Collection (GTC) is the world’s largest collection of international luxury travel advisors in leisure, corporate and entertainment.  We are focused on delivering unique products and services designed to empower our international community of luxury travel entrepreneurs and network of global partners.

 

We are looking for a B2B sales candidate based in Atlanta or south Florida (Miami/Tampa area) to join our Growth Strategy team, selling GTC products and services to highly experienced leisure, corporate and entertainment travel advisor business owners. Candidates must be sales obsessed, have an entrepreneurial mindset and seek to continuously evolve and grow with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.  

 

*This is a remote role, but you must be based out of Atlanta or the south Florida (Miami/Tampa area)*

 

 

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas.  Many factors, such as years of experience, geographical location, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.

 

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales process from sourcing leads through contract negotiations to close.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and industry trends to inform business development/ sales strategies.
  • Work with cross functional internal teams to continuously develop knowledge and expertise of GTC products and services.
  • Build diverse pipeline of qualified leads through proactive research,  ongoing networking at industry trade shows and events, social media
  • Interview and successfully vet leisure, entertainment and corporate travel advisor prospects to identify top producing candidates with highly profitable businesses who are the right cultural fit for Global Travel Collection (GTC)
  • Identify the unique needs of each business owner and effectively communicate Global Travel Collection’s unique value proposition, products and services that will help take their business to the next level
  • Manage the scheduling and logistics of all meetings and interviews with key representatives of various teams within Global Travel Collection to move the sales process forward when necessary
  • Document all lead information and status updates throughout entire sales process in Sales Force CRM
  • Once the contract is signed, work with Onboarding team throughout the on-boarding process to ensure seamless client transition to GTC
  • Consistently meet annual sales/ revenue goals

Qualifications

  • Must be based in Atlanta or south Florida (Miami area).
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
  • Minimum of four (4) years sales/ business development experience with proven track record of success
  • Travel or hospitality industry experience preferred
  • Strong sales and contract negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinker with ability to research competitive landscape, provide ongoing intel and analysis to Growth Strategy team, identify new business opportunities and implement effective sales strategies
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid business acumen necessary to effectively communicate with small business owners via a consultative sales approach
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to learn and work remotely
  • Must be comfortable with technology and have the ability and desire to learn the features and benefits of a wide range of complicated products and services and effectively sell them within the competitive landscape
  • Ability to meet annual sales/ revenue goals
  • Ability to travel and to attend industry events

 

 

Skills

  • Excellent networking and relationship building skills
  • Prior experience working with CRM system platforms (such as Sales Force) to effectively manage leads throughout the sales cycle
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented
  • Solid planning and time management skills
  • Presentation skills with ability to develop effective Power Point slide decks
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media platforms
  • Knowledge of travel industry specific technologies/ platforms preferred but not required
