Global Travel Collection, LLC, a subsidiary of Travel Leaders Group Holdings, LLC dba Internova Travel Group, seeks an Accounting Manager in New York, New York. Accounting Manager is responsible for assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual closes for multiple legal entities as well the consolidation of results in accordance with US GAAP.  The salary for this position has a range of one hundred thirty-seven thousand, one hundred and fourteen dollars to one hundred forty-one thousand fifty-one dollars.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas.  Many factors, such as years of experience, geographical location, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.

 

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.

Responsibilities

Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances. Assist in analyzing inter and intra segment elimination relationships, ensuring internal transactions are properly reported amongst the major segments. Manage accounting team. Manage AR and Land Commission team and make sure all check, wire and credit card payments are posted accurately and timely. Manage outsourced team – WNS/MVD. Manage and reconcile process for cash receipts CTS commissions for the month end close. Run AR aging reports weekly and address over 90 days balances to the management. Monitor Service Desk and make sure all tickets are assigned to the right party and resolve critical issues timely. Approve cash receipts to the correct division, account, and invoice timely and accurately and make sure the un-deposited and suspense accounts are reconciled daily. Manage field personnel in the research of cash related items, including sharing knowledge of system capabilities and coordinating cash transactions. Collaborate with Air Marketing and Supplier Marketing teams, generate marketing invoices, and maintain the marketing budget reconciliation and AR application. Review and analyze the Marketing deferred revenue accounts. Reconcile banks for Tzell, All Star, TTC, and Pro (subsidiaries). Reconcile and close intercompany transactions monthly. Review CTS unclaimed and process month end journal entries to post revenue to correct divisions. Partner with the team and management by quickly bringing issues to their attention, working to understand the root cause and offering potential solutions. May assist in other A/R functions and special projects as time and workload permits. Participate in testing and help with migration during system implementation. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Mut have proof of legal authority to work in the U.S.  Requirements - Education: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting or a closely related field. Experience - At least five years of experience as an Accountant, Accountant General, Accountant Supervisor, Chief Accountant or a similar financial control or accounting role. Travel in U.S., less than 10%.
