The Sr. Developer, Agresso Systems is responsible for the software design development, performance, functionality, and reliability of the Unit4 / Agresso Application Ensuring 24x7 application software availability in support of mission-critical business processes. This position will function as a technical developer, building and modifying application configurations and customizations/enhancements within Unit4 / Agresso application, and Providing application support to end-users. Implement, upgrade, and support ITG Business & Financial Systems. Identify, design, develop, and implement process improvements. Support integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, customize, and Implement Unit4 / Agresso application features and enhancements, Using SSRS, SSMS, and Visual Studio
  • Configure and customize the Agresso Central Command Module
  • Review, Research, and Diagnose issues and provide application support to the user base in business and financial systems promptly as per the defined SLAs
  • Ensure the application support is available at the service level and provide on-call support for break/fix/enhancement activities to resolve system/application/data issues.
  • Communicate with end users regarding system issues and update on overall progress/status and maintain a trusted communication channel with the user population
  • Maintain active and periodic communication with management regarding work/deliverable status, and progress made
  • Perform work related to special projects involving systems analysis, design, development, and implementation. Ability to lead and manage projects from inception to completion
  • Work with Agresso/Unit4 support to resolve product-related bugs and patch upgrades.
  • A flexible, self-directed, and motivated individual can accommodate shifting priorities.
  • Requires excellent communication, and written skills, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently, follow through, and complete tasks with a minimum of oversight and work effectively in a fast-paced environment and must be a team player
  • Work with technical teams and system administrators to install and maintain the Unit4 / Agresso application. Work on application upgrades, and patches and resolve any cross-functional issues. Work with cross-project teams to resolve technical performance issues
  • Reviews, analyze, and modify software programs including coding, testing, debugging, and documenting.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related field
  • 5-7 yrs. experience Agresso/Unit4 ERP applications
  • 5-7 yrs. experience in web development using ASP .Net, C#, MVC, WCF/Web Services (SOAP/REST)
  • Well-versed in SQL server 2008/2012, stored procs, SQL queries, and scripting
  • Experience in Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 / 3.5 / 2.0
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and supporting Unit4 Agresso/BW applications
  • Experience with the Central command travel module within Agresso is required
  • Strong programming skills in C# and good knowledge of OOP concepts
  • Experience working in the travel industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Self-starter
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Travel may be required for Business/project meetings
