The Advisor Accounting Assistant Specialist is responsible for all functions required to facilitate and assist advisors with questions regarding the ACS statements and commissions due. Facilitate and action Salesforce requests with proficient responses to the advisors. Assist the team to engage with Altour/Travcom to have correct data in Netsuite.

Responsibilities

• Work with advisors for parking funds, owed funds or emailing of acs report
• Research and troubleshoot questions regarding accounting transactions and ACS statements
• Ensure Addendums are provided to ACS team after approval
• Income and Expense reports for agents on request
• Validate personal commission and advances
• Validate and review vendor supplier payables along with outstanding vendor receivable aging
• Work directly with advisors/corporate accounts to resolve and validate any Accounts Receivable,
customer statements, and follow up via to ensure collections
• Apply unposted vendor commissions to outstanding vendor receivable invoices in Netsuite
• Apply Accounts receivable invoices to credits in Netsuite
• Void vendor invoices in Agresso, need to validate in Netsuite prior to voiding
• Working in Salesforce environment to research, identify issues and provide support as per the defined
SLA’s and provide timely support as required to resolve process/system /data issues via salesforce.
• Build Customer ID’s, Marketing DK’s and Shared dk’s in Netsuite and ensure they flow to Agresso
• Build and delete NMI users email & phone
• Process refunds and voids for NMI
• Trouble shoot and process refunds/voids in Card Connect
• Report issues as needed for future process, application or operational enhancements
• Work with internal support teams to identify and solve day-to-day agent commission issues in a timely
manner
• Identify agent operational processes and procedures in Agent Portal effecting the back office

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in travel agency accounting
• Ability to think ahead, anticipating problems and risks
• Ability to work independently, follow through and complete tasks
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and must be a team player
• Customer service experience
• Microsoft office
• Agresso/Netsuite experience a plus
