The IC Advisor Support Specialist, Hotels is responsible for working on Service desk and is required to facilitate and assist agents with hotel, Car, Limo and Rail commission claiming, research, problem solving and payment inquiries. Ensure all requests on service desk are pickup and assigned or actioned in a timely manner. They will address pain points, escalate payment discrepancies, assist in the claiming and reconciliation of claimed Independent Contractor commissions. Engage with other support desk resources and escalate as needed to other support areas.
• Service desk questions are resolved or assigned, actioned, and ensure resolution.
• Communicate with Independent Contractors and escalate payment or system issues to CTS.
• Research and troubleshoot payment discrepancies.
• Process agent commission claims through CTS.
• Follow up with hotel vendors for missing payments and payment details.
• Report issues as needed for future process, application, or operational enhancements.
• Work with internal support teams to identify and solve day-to-day agent commission issues in a timely manner.
• Learn Service desk, CTS, Agresso, and Netsuite
• Excellent customer service ability
• Strong team player, organizational skills, self-motivated, driven, and flexible
• 3 yrs. experience in hotel commissions and payment reconciliation
• Travel industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to think ahead, anticipating problems and risks.
• Ability to work independently, follow through and complete tasks.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Microsoft Word/Excel
