Responsible for ensuring all outstanding hotel commission are collected in a timely manner. Continuously monitor the aged debt report to ensure that hotels are paying as a result of collection outreaches. Helping maintain the supplier database in order to be successful on all collection inquires.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the full Collection cycle of hotel commissions
    • Sending out Commission invoices weekly
    • Sending out Commission statements monthly
    • Calling hotels that are still not responding
    • Updating records and doing research on all hotel responses back from inquires
    • Updates to Invoices/Statements as a result of VAT/Tax updates needed.
    • Cleansing all Duplicate Bookings in systems
    • Logging all Manual claims for hotel chains
    • Any Ad Hoc reports/collection efforts for VIP agents
  • Supplier Database Maintenance
    • Clearing out and merging all duplicate suppliers
    • Maintaining Supplier contacts
    • Maintaining Booking data integrity
    • Building new suppliers for business/agents
  • RoomSerivce Service Desk Support

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Must have a strong understanding of Collections.
  • Four plus years of progressive collection experience
  • Must be a self-motivated team player with the ability to perform responsibilities with minimum supervision.
  • Deadline oriented with a problem-solving skill set and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external customers, both in writing and verbally, in a clear professional manner.
  • Must be able to effectively multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, take initiative, and follow-up to ensure a high level of service to our internal and external customers.
  • Ability to adapt to new assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to seamlessly work between multiple systems.
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel.
