Overview

 

Duties are split between front office and back office responsibilities. Front office tasks are more customer-focused, and back office tasks are more operationally-focused.

 

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.

Responsibilities

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • To be the first point of contact based at the reception desk, for all clients and visitors
  • Answer telephone in polite, timely and efficient manner.
  • Process any administrative task or query promptly and accurately.
  • Use CRM to ensure leads are directed to the correct advisor
  • To immediately report all complaints
  • Take responsibility for your own workstation, including maintenance and operation and general office tidiness
  • Checking in/out process of visitors
  • Assist the clients /guests where ever possible to ensure they have the best possible experience.
  • Arranging Couriers where necessary.
  • Ordering Stationery.
  • Filing paperwork for various departments.
  • To complete all allocated tasks as laid out during the shift
  • Assist team members and any IC’s as required ensuring maximum service to the client.
  • To assist Global Travel Collection UK to maintain a safe working environment for staff and visitors to the office, as set out in the Staff Handbook and Health and Safety guide.
  • To provide general assistance to any other function within Global Travel Collection UK
  • Health and Safety Officer

Other responsibility can include:

  • Working closely with the sales team to ensure we offer our clients exceptional customer service
  • Liasing with suppliers, hotels, airlines and clients in a professional and timely manner.
  • Handling required admin processes related to lucury travel so knowledge of travel systems would be advantageous.

Qualifications

 

Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required

 

  • Travel industry experience would be a bonus but not essential
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs
  • The ability to work to deadlines and priorities workload in a high pressured and demanding environment
  • A good command of the English language (verbal and written) with exceptional communication & customer service skills
  • Ability to work as a team member and communicate with management effectively
  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • Flexible approach, enthusiastic and sense of humor
  • Ability to work at pace in a busy environment
  • Strong communication skills
