As a Business Analyst you will act as a liaison and collaborate with cross-functional & cross-divisional business and the technology teams to determine effective solutions for Internova business units.
You will be responsible for business requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation (QA) methods for small, medium and large sized information technology projects and programs. In addition, you will coordinate and facilitate meetings, identify system enhancements as well as provide daily production support.

• Serve as a liaison between Technology and various business units within Internova Travel Group
• Work with Cross-Functional and Cross-Business teams to provide cost effective business and technology solutions.
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings as needed.
• Provide project management support as needed.
• Document team activities and meetings with minutes and action plans.
• Document business requirements, process flows, use cases, technical requirements, user interface design, test plans and test cases.
• Ability to compare and analyze data as well as build data dictionaries.
• Ability to create wireframes and integration documents.
• Document and execute communication plans and system trainings as needed.
• Maintain key processes with adherence to the SDLC (Agile / Iterative Methodology)
• Coordinate and / or conduct quality assurance and user acceptance testing for key systems.
• Provide operation support on key applications within Travel Leaders group.
• Coordinate and manage 3rd party vendor relationships.
• Conduct regular system training sessions for internal and external clients.
• Demonstrate Knowledge of the travel industry.
• 5 years of Business Analysis or Project Management experience
• Bachelor’s degree with a technology or business emphasis, or equivalent work related experience
• Familiarity with the SDLC and various development methodologies.
• Understanding of technical concepts (programming and interfaces).
• Thorough understanding of website design and development methodologies – including third party, CRM and marketing automation systems.
• Familiar with Microsoft suite of products (MS Office and MS Development Tools)
• Familiarity with Product development, sales, support, and adoption.
• Familiarity with Smart sheets
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with users of all backgrounds in a complex environment
• Self-starter, ability to work independently to research problems and identify solutions
Desired but not required
• Business Analysis certification
• Demonstrated Business Analyst/Project Management experience
• Background in ecommerce and web development
• Experience with Agile development methodology
• Experience with Project management and tracking software (Jira)
• Extensive knowledge of the travel industry operations
• Experience with multiple GDS reservation systems (Sabre, Amadeus, Apollo etc.)
• Experience Mid-Office system functionality and configuration
• Understanding of complex fare, multi destination, ticket exchange, reservation and ticketing processes; including air, hotel, rail, and ground transportation
• Experience Online Booking Tool functionality and configuration
• Back-Office system knowledge
• Understanding of client travel policies
• Understanding of Corporate and/or Leisure travel
• Government travel reservation experience
