Responsibilities

 

JOB OVERVIEW:

This role is responsible for the software design development, performance, functionality, and reliability of Internova Applications. Ensuring 24x7 application software availability in support of mission critical business processes. This position will function as technical developer, building and modifying application configurations and customizations/enhancements within applications, Provide application support to end-users. Implement, upgrade and support Internova Business & Financial Systems. Identify, design, develop and implement process improvements. Support integrations. 

 

WORK SCHEDULE: Mon to Fri 9:00 AM to 5:45 PM EST Time. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •          Design, develop, customize, and Implement application features and enhancements, Using SSRS, SSMS, Visual studio.
  •          Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL database objects and queries to support business applications.
  •          Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate those into technical solutions.
  •          Write efficient and effective SQL queries and stored procedures, data interface objects to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  •          Creates and automates ETL processes for data management and other related tasks. Performs quality checks, usability analysis, and identification of anomalies in the data that need to be addressed.
  •          Writes technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operation and user guides.
  •          Performs a variety of programming tasks, such as designing, documenting, and coding application programs.
  •          Review, Research and Diagnose issues and provide application support to user base in business and financial systems in a timely manner as per the defined SLAs.
  •          Ensure service level availability of the applications support and provide on-call support as required for break/fix/enhancement activities to resolve system/application/data issues.
  •          Communicate with end users regarding system issues and update on overall progress/status and maintain a trusted communication channel with the user population
  •          Maintain active and periodic communication with management regarding work/deliverable status, progress made
  •          Perform work related to special projects involving systems analysis, design, development and implementation. Ability to lead and manage projects from inception to completion
  •          Flexible, self-directed, and motivated individual, able to accommodate shifting priorities.
  •          Requires excellent communication, written skills, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  •          Ability to work independently, follow through and complete tasks with a minimum of oversight and work effectively in a fast-paced environment and must be a team player
  •          Work with technical teams and system administrators to install and maintain the applications. Work on application upgrades, patches and resolve any cross functional issues. Work with cross project teams to resolve technical performance issues
  •          Reviews, analyze, and modify software programs including coding, testing, debugging and documenting.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related field
  • 3-5 yrs. experience in web development using ASP .Net, C#, MVC, WCF/Web Services (SOAP/REST)
  • 2 yrs. experience as SQL developer/Database application programming
  • Demonstrated experience with ETL tools and data migration process.
  • Proficient in T-SQL programming, SQL windowed functions, scheduled jobs, and experience in SQL databases, stored procs, SQL queries and scripting.
  • Proficient knowledge of working with Visual Studio for Database solutions, SSDT, GitHub / TFS code repository
  • Experience in Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 / 3.5 / 2.0
  • Strong programming skills in C# and good knowledge of OOP concepts
  • Experience working in the travel industry is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Self-starter
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
