Responsibilities

The Senior Director, Hotel Content Sourcing & Adoption, is a strategic leader responsible for driving the growth, optimization, and adoption of ALTOUR’s global hotel content portfolio. This individual plays a critical role in sourcing and curating premium and corporate hotel content that aligns with client needs, supplier partnerships, and company objectives.

 

Reporting to senior leadership, the Senior Director leads initiatives that expand preferred content, enhance rate competitiveness, and drive utilization across all distribution channels. The role requires a deep understanding of hotel program dynamics, including rate loading, GDS connectivity, direct connect technologies, and emerging industry trends.

 

In partnership with Sales, Account Management, Service Delivery, Marketing, and Supplier Relations, this leader ensures hotel content is effectively positioned and adopted across ALTOUR’s client base and agent teams. The Senior Director also partners closely with internal stakeholders to track program performance, lead adoption strategies domestically and internationally, and champion innovation in hotel sourcing and content management.

 

This is a high-impact role ideal for a results-driven hospitality leader with strong commercial acumen, operational excellence, and a passion for delivering exceptional value to clients and supplier partners alike.

 

Client Hotel Program Leadership:

  • Design and execute strategic hotel sourcing and negotiation plans tailored to client needs.
  • Utilize Vindow as the preferred platform for sourcing and analytics to ensure competitive pricing and optimal program value.
  • Drive year-over-year improvements in cost savings, coverage, compliance, and traveler satisfaction.

Agent Hotel Attach Optimization:

  • Increase hotel attach rates across ALTOUR’s service delivery teams by designing and implementing effective reporting, training, communications, and incentive programs.
  • Partner with Service Delivery and Operations leaders to embed hotel attach best practices into agent workflows.
  • Develop visibility tools and dashboards that track performance and celebrate top performers.
  • Deliver consistent messaging and change management initiatives that help frontline agents understand the value of hotel attach—for the client, the traveler, and the business.

WW Hotel Program Adoption:

  • Provide the “voice of the customer” to the Internova Hotel Team for use in program curation and negotiation with suppliers.
  • Promote Internova’s global preferred hotel program to both internal ALTOUR stakeholders and clients to maximize usage and value.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, and Marketing to create go-to-market strategies, materials, and campaigns that encourage adoption.
  • Develop metrics and reporting to monitor adoption trends and influence program enhancements.

Consulting Practice Development:

  • Lead a high-performing team of consultants, analysts, and sourcing professionals to deliver on client engagements and scalable solutions.
  • Build infrastructure, playbooks, and tools to ensure consistent, repeatable, and high-impact client deliverables.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on hotel program optimization and strategic sourcing within the corporate travel landscape.

Performance and Impact Measurement:

  • Drive growth of Internova’s Business Travel Consultancy offering, with direct accountability for increasing Revenue and EBITDA contribution.
  • Position ALTOUR’s consulting services as a market leader through innovative solutions, operational excellence, and measurable client ROI.
  • Monitor competitive landscape to ensure Internova’s offerings are differentiated and best-in-class.

Success Metrics:

  • Increased revenue and EBITDA tied to consulting-led hotel program engagements.
  • Growth in adoption and utilization of Internova’s global preferred hotel program.
  • Client satisfaction and measurable savings from sourcing engagements.
  • Scalable consulting operations and team capacity aligned with growth objectives.
  • Recognition of Internova as a leader in hotel sourcing and program management in the corporate travel sector.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate travel consulting, hotel sourcing, or travel procurement.
  • Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and hotel program design.
  • Familiarity and hands-on experience with Vindow or similar hotel sourcing platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling consulting offerings and managing P&L impact.
  • Strong leadership, client engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
  • Up to 20% travel
