Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Entertainment Travel Technology to lead the strategic development and operational execution of travel technology solutions tailored for our entertainment clientele. This role will be pivotal in driving innovation, optimizing workflows, and enhancing service delivery across our entertainment travel vertical.

 

Candidates located near our Beverly Hills, CA location are preferred.

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of travel technology platforms, including Sabre Scribe scripting, Concur Compleat mid-office automation, and custom profile management tools.
  • Any additional agent facing travel products that require implementation that will be supported by GTC Travel Technology
  • Oversee technology integration for entertainment clients, including onboarding, production travel workflows, and compliance with travel policies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify operational inefficiencies and recommend data-driven solutions that improve productivity and service quality.
  • Manage cross-functional projects involving business development, client onboarding, automation, and vendor liaison.
  • Manage the development of business requirements, quality assurance (QA) testing, and deployment of enhancements and new product functionality. Successfully collaborate between all departments to ensure processes are working efficiently and report errors or issues as they arise
  • Provide consultative support to internal teams and clients on best practices in entertainment travel management.
  • Support Leisure and Corporate Advisors as needed
  • Develop and maintain training programs for agents and stakeholders to ensure consistent use of technology and adherence to standards.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics, cost-saving opportunities, and policy compliance across entertainment accounts.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field; advanced certifications in travel technology or project management preferred.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in entertainment travel management and technology, including roles at major studios and travel management companies.
  • Proven expertise in Sabre, Concur Compleat, and mid-office systems.
  • Strong background in project management, change management, and operational efficiency.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills required to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Supervisory experience, leading a technical & support team.
  • Proficient in setting and managing internal and external customer and advisor expectations.
  • Experience managing high-volume production travel for film and television, including VIP and executive travel.
  • International experience and familiarity with global travel policies and compliance standards preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize complex workloads.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
