Responsibilities

Data Specialist will ensure that supplier, partner, and product data across proprietary platforms are complete, consistent, and accurate.

 

 

  1. Data Entry & Quality Control (QC) – Salesforce & Contacts Platform
  • Enter and update travel partner profiles, products, and offerings into the consortia’s proprietary LUX platform.
  • Conduct detailed quality control checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to formatting standards.
  • Flag and resolve incomplete or inconsistent data fields, and follow-up with associated partner teams and contacts.
  1. Consistency & Standardization
  • Maintain standardized input formats for fields such as partner names, descriptions, property categories, and contact information.
  • Ensure consistent naming conventions and brand guidelines across all member and partner facing data entries.
  1. Salesforce Data Support
  • Build and update new partner profiles in Salesforce, ensuring proper categorization, contact mapping, and metadata tagging.
  • Assist internal teams to with accurate sales reports.
  1. Partner Coordination & Follow-Up
  • Identify profiles with missing or outdated information and follow up with supplier partners directly to request updates or verify data.
  • Send out self-update requests to partners and track response compliance.
  1. Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Partner Relations, Marketing, and Technology teams to support data cleanup projects, product launches, and seasonal updates.
  • Escalate discrepancies or policy exceptions to supervisors or relevant teams for resolution.
  • Contribute to a culture of joyful collaboration, inspiration and entrepreneurship.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years’ experience in data entry, database management, or administrative support (travel industry experience a plus).
  • Proficiency with tools like Salesforce, Excel/Smartsheet, and content management systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow structured data standards.
  • Exceptional English written and verbal.
  • Organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a range based on the local market where the candidate would be working.  Many factors, such as years of experience, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. 

 

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
