The person in this role will have a heavy focus on cruise lines assigned by his/her manager. The expectation is 
that this individual will be the expert on their assigned cruise lines and will have the ability to communicate all 
necessary information to CruCon staff. It is essential that the person in this role form and maintain a positive 
relationship with his/her cruise lines contacts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Form a relationship with cruise line contacts and become well-versed in assigned cruise line(s) policies 
and procedures.
• Must relay important information regarding cruise line changes in policies to the appropriate CruCon staff. 
These changes could include gratuity amounts, redeployments, itinerary changes etc.
• Maintain cruise line web pages and pages associated.
• Provide weekly reports, marketing plans, and recovery plans.
• Manage a co-op budget for assigned cruise line(s).
• Brief departments on upcoming/ongoing cruise line promotions.
• Assist with VIP bookings, solving price match issues, and provide group quotes when necessary.
• Assist with bookings made via company online booking engine 
• Other duties as assigned
Education, Knowledge and Skills:
• Sales and basic customer service knowledge required.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. 
• The ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to correspond with tact, 
respectfulness, and discretion
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Must be able to work well under pressure and under tight deadlines
• The ability to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, bring documents to 
other departments, etc.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Typing and 
handwriting included in position duties. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office 
products and supplies. Specific vision abilities include the ability to read computer monitor, files, and 
other documents as needed

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a range based on the local market where the candidate would be working. Many factors, such as years of experience, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
