Responsibilities

As a Social Media Manager at Travel Leaders Network – You will be responsible to oversee the day-to-day strategy, growth and development of a new social media program that allows us to create and post content on behalf of thousands of travel advisors and agencies. In addition, you will provide strategic growth and development for our consumer facing social media channels.  You will work very closely with a dedicated team of content creators providing direction, thought leadership, guidance, and support that drives desired results across all social media platforms.  This role will influence and impact thousands of independent travel advisors and travel agencies across the US and Canada as well as impact our consumer facing social media strategy.

 

About You: You’ve spent years working in social media roles creating content, analyzing performance and monitoring trends. You are very in-tune with rapid updates and changes across social platforms. Developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive strong measurable performance and long-term impact is the direction you’d like to take your career.  You are a creative at heart with a strong interest in photography, videography and visual storytelling on Social and Digital channels.  You breathe team collaboration, not above getting your hands dirty and working with the team, dedicated to personal growth and ready to step into a leadership role.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Social Media Strategy and Visual Storytelling – In this role, you will blend hands-on content creation and digital strategy while utilizing data-driven insights to craft and manage comprehensive social media content strategies that drive growth, engagement and leads across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube for Social Media Programs in the US and Canada as well as Travel Leaders consumer facing social media channels. The ideal candidate excels in visual storytelling with a strong understanding of the art and strategy of social media
    • Spot Trends, Drive Insights: Lead trendspotting and social listening to translate cultural insights into strategic opportunities that drive performance
    • Own Performance & Optimization: Track performance, analyze data, recommend optimizations to enhance engagement and reach
    • Experience with Facebook Ads Manager: Boosting Content, Analytics and Performance
    • Understanding of Meta Business Manager: Page Set-Up and Maintenance
    • Champion Social Across Organization: Share insights, educate staff and advisors, be an advocate for social media’s strategic value and the team
    • Develop & Conceptualize visual stories and craft high quality content
    • Produce & Shoot Photo & Video Content with some post-production editing
    • Deliver & Reformat Content for non-social marketing channels

 

  • Social Media Program Management – That Maximize program enrollment, onboarding, retention, and education for 2,500+ highly engaged members across the US and Canada by creating strong marketing strategies across a variety of B2B communication such as email, webinars, Facebook groups, Training, in-person events, etc..
    • Application & Membership: Oversee all aspects of approval and onboarding
    • B2B Marketing Strategy: Craft Email Marketing strategy and communication, host meetings with internal and external partners as well as any additional marketing strategies needed
    • Facebook Group: Oversee content, membership, engagement and strategy
    • Training & Education: Create and execute education plans and strategies
    • Subject Matter Expert: Point of contact for training, support, sales, advisor memberships, internal staff, etc.. for all things program related
    • Administrative Projects: Responsible for all aspects of program including maintenance, administration and execution of all projects with the support of internal teams

 

  • Thought Leadership: Work hand-in-hand across Paid & Organic Social and Digital to assist the team in troubleshooting, brainstorming and ideation. From Social, Digital, Google, Analytics and more, you are sure to become a valuable resource to the team to assist in a wide variety of other projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years in social media marketing with strong track record leading strategic vision and digital storytelling
  • Facebook Business Manager, Page Set-Up and Platform Best Practices are vital
  • Strong expertise in content creation, community management, analytics, performance with additional expertise with design tools such as Adobe CC Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro
  • Experience with professional camera systems (Nikon, Canon, Fuji, etc..)
  • Hands-On knowledge and experience working with lighting and audio equipment
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills + attention to detail
  • Hyper-Organized, self-motivated, big picture thinker that works well independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills to constructively direct talent and crew
  • Willingness to collaborate, adapt and creatively solve problems
  • Desire to stay ahead of social trends, keep up-to-date with latest camera, lighting and content creation equipment
  • Able to travel up to 15% both domestically and internationally

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
