To support strategic decision making within Nexion Travel Group through maintaining an accurate databases, maintaining and creating analytical dashboards, and providing management with insights.

• Overall responsibility will be to maintain and enhance analysis of advisor profitability and work with management to provide insights
• Maintain related databases and tables in SQL, including those with financial information
• Enhance data visibility of advisor interactions with Nexion advisor agencies
• Create/review automation between different systems working with multiple teams
• Run monthly reviews of all data with Nexion management and operations teams.
• Connect database to Advisor profitability dashboard in Power BI:
  • Enhance database with advisor profitability lookup tables (email lookups, commission roll-ups)
  • Add database to PowerBI dashboard as input data source
  • Make mods to PowerBI dashboard as required
• Assist with database merges with external data for ease of data integrity
• Deliver insights to Nexion Travel Group management on advisor data through Excel files and PowerBI dashboards.
• Work with advisor teams to help provide data to facilitate advisor success, consulting, and growth conversations
• Collaborate with Industry Relations team to run Nexion specific modules of supplier analysis and build dashboards from supplier data
• Work on other strategic or analytical projects for Nexion management as required

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a data analytics and database management
• Experience with analytics software such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx - Power BI preferred
• Experience of working with SQL and R. Knowledge of other programming languages preferred but not required
• Understanding of Salesforce system preferred but not required
• Proficient in Excel (including Pivot Tables and V/HLOOKUP) as well as all other MS programs: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
• Experience working collaboratively with different business teams to deliver data insights and strategic recommendations
• Ability to understand project requirements, multi-task and manage time efficiently while working under pressure in a dynamic fast paced technical environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English including creating technical documents and communicating with non-technical individuals
• Understanding of the travel industry or similar industries

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a range based on the local market where the candidate would be working.  Many factors, such as years of experience, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. 

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
