Job Summary:
The Marketing Account Specialist will be responsible for supporting a team of Account Managers, Sr. Director, Director
and VP of Partner Marketing in supporting Preferred Supplier marketing plan execution, administrative detail. The
Account Specialist will implement and execute B2B and B2C marketing tactics for Supplier Partners focusing on
messages to increase supplier revenue, exposure, awareness and education under the direction of the assigned
Account Manager. In this support role, the Specialist will assist the team on various aspects of marketing as well as
have ownership of select budgetary tasks, projects or package level Supplier Marketing Plans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Account Managers to request and gather feedback, direction, and approvals from Preferred
Suppliers to execute marketing plan activities accurately and on schedule.
• Partner with Creative and Operations teams to support the development of print and digital marketing
materials, ensuring all content is complete, accurate, and aligned with brand expectations.
• Attend assigned partner meetings with Account Managers to understand strategic direction, collect project
requirements, and translate that information into clear, actionable internal requests.
• Provide timely support to Account Managers during vacation or out of office periods, ensuring continuity and
accuracy of all time sensitive tasks.
• Respond to Agency/Member inquiries regarding Preferred Supplier products and promotions, providing clear
and accurate information.
• Route business to business (B2B) and business to consumer (B2C) marketing projects through internal
creative workflows and to suppliers for review, ensuring all required information is included and all steps are
completed before submission.
• Coordinate Advisor training opportunities with the Educational Services Department, ensuring accurate
information and timely scheduling.
• Manage and proof weekly B2B email content for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to brand and
supplier standards.
• Assist Account Managers in tracking and maintaining program budgets within Smartsheet, ensuring all tactics
are accurately recorded and completed by their designated launch dates to support timely monthly invoicing.
• Assist Account Managers with program analysis and performance recaps for partners, ensuring data accuracy
and clarity of insights as needed.
• Support VP of Partner Marketing, Senior Director, Director, and Account Managers with administrative or
operational tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Tourism, Business Administration or equivalent (required)
• 3+ years post-college marketing experience in a fast paced environment
• Highly self motivated with strong initiative and the ability to work independently without daily oversight
• Proven ability to work in a deadline driven environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience tracking or managing budgets, preferably within Smartsheet or similar project management
tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with a
variety of audiences
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities
• Collaborative team player with a positive, solutions oriented mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with
Smartsheet a plus
• Experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry a plus
• Prior experience in Account Management, Marketing Operations, or within an advertising/creative
agency environment is a plus

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a range based on the local market where the candidate would be working. Many factors, such as years of experience, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
