Responsibilities

JOB OVERVIEW:

 

The Cruise Group Specialist is responsible for maintaining and optimizing Nexion’s Block Space Group Program. This role will focus on strategically securing group space, accurately loading and maintaining cruise group data within internal systems, and tracking group materialization to maximize tour conductor revenue. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical and highly organized.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Strategically secure and manage group space within participating cruise lines’ reservation systems for Nexion’s Cruise Space Program.
  • Accurately load and maintain all cruise group records within internal systems.
  • Identify individual bookings eligible for transfer into Nexion group space and assist members with the transfer process.
  • Provide second-level support to the Member Services Team and other internal departments by resolving Cruise Space-related inquiries and issues.
  • Monitor and track group materialization, performance metrics, and tour conductor revenue.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and documentation related to group activity.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Travel industry experience preferred (cruise experience strongly preferred).
  • Salesforce experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with cruise line systems such as Cruising Power (Espresso) and One Source (Polar Online) preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer service mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a range based on the local market where the candidate would be working.  Many factors, such as years of experience, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. 

 

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
