AAA Hotel Collection Specialist

Responsible for ensuring the timely collection of all outstanding hotel commissions. Continuously monitor the aged
debt report to verify that hotels are making payments following collection efforts. Assist in maintaining the supplier
database to facilitate successful resolution of all collection inquiries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the full Collection cycle of hotel commissions
• Cleanse past due bookings
• Email hotels to collect overdue commissions
• Call hotels that have not responded to emails
• Updating records and doing research on all hotel responses
• Cleanse all Duplicate Bookings in systems
• Research and manual claim hotels on behalf of advisors
• Any Ad Hoc reports/collection efforts for VIP hotels/agents
• Supplier Database Maintenance and contacts
• Maintaining Booking data integrity
• Researching and claiming on behalf of advisors

• 4 yrs. experience in Collections
• Strong understanding of Hotel Collections
• Ability to think ahead, anticipating problems and risks
• Ability to work independently, follow through and complete tasks
• Strong team player, organizational skills, self-motivated, driven, and flexible
• Excellent customer service skills
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excel Proficient

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a range based on the local market where the candidate would be working.  Many factors, such as years of experience, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. 

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
