Responsibilities

 

Travel Leaders Group is seeking a NetSuite Developer with a strong focus on NetSuite customization and development using SuiteScript. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom NetSuite functionality based on functional design documents and business requirements, while ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of the NetSuite platform supporting mission‑critical business processes.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on developer who excels at translating functional designs into high‑quality NetSuite solutions, managing work through Jira, and contributing to long‑term platform stability and evolution.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript 2.x, including User Event, Client, Scheduled, Restlets, Map/Reduce scripts, and Suitelets.
  • Implement NetSuite solutions based on functional design documents, technical specifications, and defined business requirements
  • Configure and customize NetSuite ERP, including custom records, workflows, forms, saved searches, and reports
  • Perform NetSuite application implementations, enhancements, and upgrades across environments
  • Manage development work using Jira, including task tracking, sprint execution, and issue resolution
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for custom NetSuite functionality to ensure system stability and performance
  • Collaborate closely with functional stakeholders, NetSuite Business Analysts, and business users to refine requirements and deliver effective solutions
  • Participate in testing, validation, and deployment activities to ensure solutions meet functional and technical expectations
  • Support the long‑term vision and roadmap for NetSuite financial and operational systems

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Support existing integrations as needed (REST, SOAP, middleware‑based), without being the primary focus of the role
  • Assist with data analysis and reporting needs within NetSuite

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 2–4 years of hands‑on experience developing and customizing NetSuite OneWorld / Financials
  • Strong experience with SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, and RESTles.
  • Solid understanding of NetSuite architecture, data model, governance limits, and performance considerations
  • Proven experience delivering development work from functional design documentation
  • Familiarity with NetSuite ERP and Financials
  • Experience using Jira or similar tools for managing development work
  • Strong JavaScript skills and understanding of object‑oriented programming concepts

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and XML
  • Familiarity with SQL or general data management concepts
  • Exposure to REST or SOAP web services
  • Prior familiarity with third‑party integrations (e.g., middleware such as Dell Boomi) is a plus, but not required

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a range based on the local market where the candidate would be working.  Many factors, such as years of experience, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. 

 

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
