Job Summary:
The land commission specialist will support the accounting team with daily data entry functions. Administer and
execute assigned internal processes, including reconciling and maintaining commissions records, researching
and resolving internal and external paid commission issues, responding appropriately and report generation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deposit and reconcile checks/Ach payments.
• Review unclaimed commissions report on a weekly basis and request additional booking details from the
suppliers and (or) advisors, if necessary.
• Monitor Land Commission Salesforce desks and make sure all tickets are closed timely.
• Allocate commission payments to correct accounts, customers, and travel advisors timely and accurately.
• Posts cash receipts to the correct division, account, and invoice timely and accurately.
• Balances daily cash receipt input files to bank deposits totals including wires, ACHs, check deposits and
credit card payments to ensure completeness.
• Communicate with vendors and travel advisors on short-paid balances, unidentified payments, and
possible process enhancements.
• Partner with the team and management by quickly bringing issues to their attention, working to
understand the root cause, and offering potential solutions.
• May assist in other land functions and special projects as time and workload permits.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
• 1-3 years of experience with Accounts Receivable.
• High degree of familiarity with AR functions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Intermediate to Advance Excel Skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinker, with autonomy and problem-solving capabilities.
• 2- or 4-year degree in finance or accounting preferred but not required.
• Experience in Agresso and NetSuite a plus.
• Knowledge of the travel industry.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a range based on the local market where the candidate would be working. Many factors, such as years of experience, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
