Responsibilities

Department provides exclusive air service to customers of a medium size cruise company.  Air Specialist to service incoming calls from clients and book air and/or hotel to correspond with sailings.  Air Specialists will be servicing a leisure market.

 

  • Service incoming calls offering flight options and providing accurate pricing and information to correspond with associated voyages.
  • Issue tickets for guests in Sabre.
  • Provide all airline, department and external documentation is provided as required.
  • Booking of hotels for passengers who are deviating and may need assistance with hotels.
  • Assisting the passengers to get their preferred seats and updating their itineraries with Mileage numbers, TSA Pre Check and global entry numbers.
  • Work hand in hand with Cruise Company to a great experience to all customers.
  • Solicit to capture airline sales when air is not confirmed.
  • Respond to all inquiries within the set service level agreement in a professional and concise manner.
  • Ability to accurately interpret voyage descriptions to align flights with corresponding voyages.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Working knowledge of Airline and industry policies.
  • Minimum 5 years of Sabre experience with booking and ticketing duties.
  • Ability to think outside the box in shopping and troubleshooting scenarios.
  • Strong Microsoft Skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Schedule would be Monday through Friday 9:30am-6pm with alternating Saturdays.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a range based on the local market where the candidate would be working.  Many factors, such as years of experience, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. 

 

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
