We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Salesforce System Administrator to join our dynamic and fast-paced events team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the configuration, management, and maintenance of Salesforce campaigns that underpin our event operations. You will help ensure that all event-related data is captured accurately, workflows run efficiently, and campaign activities are executed flawlessly across both virtual and live events.

As a key support function, you will assist with campaign setup, user support, troubleshooting system issues, and maintaining data integrity to enable effective reporting and decision-making. You will collaborate closely with Events, Marketing, IT, and internal client stakeholders to streamline processes, enhance communication flows, and ensure that all event activities meet both logistical needs and strict pharmaceutical compliance standards.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a detail-oriented environment, and is passionate about using Salesforce to improve operational efficiency and event delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Salesforce Campaign Support

  • Assist in the setup and administration of event campaigns (predominantly virtual) within Salesforce, ensuring accurate configuration and timely execution.
  • Load and manage campaign data, including registration records, attendance tracking, and customer engagement updates.

Marketing Communication Adjustments

  • Support the editing and updating of marketing content used in event invitations, reminders, and follow-up emails within campaign templates.
  • Coordinate with the Salesforce specialist and event team to ensure communications are accurate, timely, and audience-appropriate.

Data Monitoring and Maintenance

  • Monitor Salesforce for data errors, duplicates, or missing fields that may impact campaign execution or reporting.
  • Flag issues to the relevant teams or proactively resolve them when within scope.

Post-Event Data Clean-up

  • Perform post-event data reconciliation and clean-up, ensuring attendee information, participation status, and survey results are accurately logged.
  • Support quality control reviews to maintain the integrity of Salesforce data and event records.

Event Campaign Troubleshooting

  • Assist in resolving technical issues related to campaign delivery, such as automation errors, incorrect email triggers, or form submission problems.
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce specialist and clinical events team to address and resolve campaign challenges.

Customer Query Support

  • Troubleshoot and respond to customer inquiries related to event registration, attendance confirmation, and certificates.
  • Log and track issues in line with internal escalation processes, ensuring professional and timely communication with HCPs or event delegates.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with Salesforce CRM, ideally in an administrative, data entry, or campaign support capacity.
• Solid understanding of data accuracy, quality control, and campaign workflows.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data manipulation and validation (e.g., VLOOKUP,
   filtering, de-duplication).

• Ability to identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to registration forms, email sends, and event
  data workflows.

• Familiarity with email campaign tools and/or marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing
  Cloud, Pardot, Marketo).

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data or system issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and respond clearly to customer
  queries.

• Highly organised and reliable, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven
  environment.

• Demonstrates initiative and accountability, particularly when working independently or supporting remote
  teams.

Additional desirable skills
• Experience supporting virtual event operations (e.g., managing registration portals, live attendee data, certificate generation).
• Understanding of GDPR/data protection standards and how they apply to event data management.
• Basic knowledge of HTML or email formatting for content updates is a plus.
